9 Months

Wow! Where has the time gone? It is hard to believe that our first year with Isa is almost here. We are so blessed by her I cannot imagine what our life was without her. She definitely brings lots of smiles and laughter to our days.
At this point she is doing so many things it is hard to believe that she was so tiny just 9 months ago and only ate, slept and pooped! She is now on the move...she can crawl like the speed of light. She is pulling up on everything she can reach. Loves to cruise around. She says Da da da. Which we are not sure how she learned because we call Ed Papi or Papa. She is beginning to say the word no but it comes out more like nay (she adds to it by shaking her head). This is definitely because we get after her for all the mischief. We know that words for her are going to be a little delayed just because of the dual language, but we know the benefits are so great in the future. Sometimes when Ed speaks spanish to her I think she understands him more than me.
I think what is most noticiable about her is that she loves to examine things if it is just looking around at everything or wanting to touch everything. She will even point at things and say da da. Like she is trying to tell us something about it or ask us a question.
Overall, she is really healthy which we thank God. The pedriatician says she is in the 50% percentile for height and 75% percentile for weight at her age. What we like the most is how happy she is, smiling for everything!
