Sunday was Ed's first Father's Day. I think he enjoyed the day. We began the day with opening a few small gifts. I got him a couple of books to read to Isabella, 2 onesies's that makes Isabella look like a football and a soccer ball, and a tri picture frame with Isa holding the letters to spell Dad in each picture. Then we headed off to church and then lunch at Ed's pick at Nordstrom Bistro.Afterwards he went and picked out his real gift of new tennis shoes. Then we headed home to let Isa take a nap and Ed went to play his soccer game. Later that night we headed to a watch a semi pro soccer team called the Aztecs that are based here in Austin. Ed was in Soccer heaven. Not only did he get to play soccer but, he also got to watch a soccer game. This was right up his alley. We all enjoyed making Ed feel special on this day!
